Samsung Galaxy J3 is set to launch soon (2017)

Samsung launched the Galaxy J3 last year followed by an upgraded version of Galaxy J3 Pro earlier this year. Now, according to the recent rumours, the successor Samsung Galaxy J3 is set to launch soon (2017).

A famous tipster Evan Blass has revealed a press render of the Galaxy J3 pointing out that its announcement is on the cards. In terms of design, the smartphone has all the standard feature of a Samsung’s low-budgeted Galaxy smartphone along with Home Button housed on the bottom of the display and capacitive navigation buttons on either side. The power button is spotted on the right edge, whereas the volume controller is resting on the left edge. As the first Galaxy J3 was announced in November last year, it appears that the company will follow the tradition and unveil the Galaxy J3 (2017) in the same timeframe.

Some leaks of the smartphone have also surfaced on Geekbench revealing its specifications. The upcoming Samsung J3 is tipped to be powered by Snapdragon 430 MSM8937 octa-core CPU along with 1.5GB of RAM or 2GB of RAM. The device is expected to run on Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box along with TouchWiz UI skin on top. Most likely the smartphone will have a 4GB VoLTE support.

The Samsung Galaxy J3 (2016) first came to India in March last year with a price tag of Rs. 8,990. During that time the ‘S Bike Mode’ was considered the biggest feature and  ensured minimum distraction while riding the bike. Once the feature is enabled it automatically replies to calls with pre-recorded message in 14 languages, and doesn’t inform the rider. The feature also has something called Motion Lock, which make sure that if the rider wants to answer and incoming call, they will have to stop the vehicle before they can answer it.

According to another website, the Samsung Galaxy J3 (2017) is pegged to be priced at Rs. 6,800 and it could be launched in India soon. However, until now Samsung has not made any official regarding this.
