We are rapidly approaching a new era, where basically few displays are a bezel less. While Xiaomi drove it out with Mi MIX, LG and Samsung followed with G8 and Galaxy S8 respectively, and Apple is expected to do the same with its upcoming 10th anniversary iPhone. Huawei is also trying to display ‘full-screen’ when launching ‘Mate 10 Flagship’, CEO confirms.
CEO words-
In 2017, there was a trend of Bezel-less displays, and Huawei’s CEO confirmed earlier this month that rumors of the band’s 9th anniversary would show fewer visions of bezel less display. They were looking to grow the shipments of mobile this year and take on the Apple giant. Bloomberg, Richard Yu said in the interview that it is time for Apple’s next iPhone revealed and it is the right time for the Mate 10, and it means we are looking for September for the launch. In fact, Huawei’s CEO showed neatly that Mate 10 would have features that will trump Apple.
“We will have another powerful product,” says Yu. “The Mate10, which is battery life with full-screen displays, fast charging speed, better picture capability and many other features, will help us compete with Apple.”
By the end of the year, Huawei had anticipated an estimated 140 million -150 million smartphones, which, after the report of a slump in the smartphone export in the year, was released by the CEO. This is only marginally better than the previous year’s 13.9 million. Huawei claims that the reason for this is that the company is focusing on the pursuit of profits rather than the volume, and is planning to do this by changing focus from high-end phones.
The Chinese manufacturer is also planning to launch “Al processor” which is about to make the smartphone “intelligent.” However, the Yu did not make it clear whether Huawei’s dedicated AI processor will be included in the upcoming Mate 10.
As is expected to come up with Mate 10, earlier this month it was reported that the modern smartphone might come along with face recognition, AR support, and 3D sensing. Also, the smartphone has been expected to come up with the Iris scanning and might be powered by the Huawei’s HiSilcon Kirin 970 SoC based on the 10nm process.
Huawei Mate 10 has been expected to come with a 6 inch (1080×2160 pixels) display with an 18: 9 aspect ratio, which is similar to the LG G6 and the Galaxy S8. Cameras are likely to be Leica -branded on the smartphone, as was the case with Mate 9. As according to the statement of Richard Yew, Huawei Mate 10 may be disclosed in September.
