Alcatel has launched Idol 4 smartphone in India
Alcatel has launched Idol 4 smartphone in India; the smartphone were initially launched at the company’s pre-MWC 2016 event this year. The idol 4 comes with a price tag of Rs. 16,999 and it will be a Flipkart exclusive product, and it will be up for grabs from Thursday onwards. It is available in Metal Silver, Gold, and Dark Grey colour variants.
Along with Alcatel Idol 4 smartphone, the company offers a VR headset that allows the users to get a mesmeric experience. The smartphone also packs JBL earphones in the box. One the highlights of Alcatel Idol 4 is the boom key which is housed on the right side of the handset, and which let the users get access to the camera, gallery, games, videos, and other applications.
Coming to the specifications of Alcatel Idol 4, it supports dual-SIM and runs on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow out-of-the-box. It features a 5.2-inch HD IPS LTPS (1080×1920 pixels) display. The smartphone is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 617 processor which is paired with Adreno 405 GPU and 3GB of RAM. The device offers an onboard storage capacity of 16GB which can be further expanded up to 512GB via microSD card.
In terms of the optics of Alcatel Idol 4, the device bears a 13-megapixel primary camera at the back along with touch focus and dual-LED flash. At the front, it houses an 8-megapixel snapper with flash. The smartphone also incorporates real-time face beautification feature.
The dimensions of Alcatel Idol 4 are measured at 147×72.5×7.1mm, and it weighs 135 grams. The smartphone is packed with a 2610mAh battery plus it also features Quick Charge version 2.0. As for the connectivity, the handset offers 4G LTE, Bluetooth 4.2, 3.5mm audio jack, Wi-Fi, and USB OTG.
With the launch of Idol 4 in the country, we would expect the Alcatel Idol 4s will soon make its way to India as well.
