BSNL on Friday announced unlimited calling offer for its prepaid customers
State-owned BSNL on Friday announced unlimited calling offer for its prepaid customers accompanied with limited free data usage among free call offers from the private rival such as Reliance Jio.
The company issued a statement saying that it has announced unlimited local and STD BSNL to BSNL along with 300MB data for just Rs. 99 with the validity period of 28 days for its prepaid mobile users.
These rates will be applicable in Kolkata TD, Bihar, West Bengal, Jharkhand, Gujarat, Assam, Maharashtra, Rajasthan, Chhattisgarh, and MP for within networks calls. In other circles, the same offer will range from Rs. 119 to Rs. 149.
The statement further added the company has also announced a new combo STV along with unlimited local and STD BSNL to any network with 1GB data for just Rs. 339 with 28 days of validity on pan-India basis.
As we know, the company is already offering unlimited 3G service for Rs. 1099 with the validity of 30 days.

BSNL Director of Consumer Mobility RK Mittal said that the tariff offered by BSNL are most viable and is committed to offering affordable and exceptional services to our esteemed customers.
At the beginning of this month, competitor operative Bharti Airtel and Idea Cellular took a step forward t match free 4G service that Reliance Jio offered by launching similar offering such as free calls and limited mobile internet price like around Rs. 150 and Rs. 350 with the validity of 28 days.
Recently Vodafone also offered similar tariff scheme. Currently, Reliance Jio is providing free 4G mobile service which includes calls and data till March 31. It has bagged 52 million customers in 83 days.
These plans come close to projected Rs. 149 plan for Reliance Jio under which it will offer free calls to all network in India for 28 days without any roaming charges. The plan features 300MB 4G data during a day and unlimited usage at night.
