Gionee M6, M6 Plus with Massive Batteries Launched
Gionee has unveiled two new smartphones Gionee M6 and Gionee M6 Plus. The launch took place in Beijing on Tuesday. Both the devices have an inbuilt data encryption chip that certifies the security of customers’ messages and data. Only China variants of M6 and M6 Plus have this chip, for the global variants, they only have Fingerprint sensor. The Gionee M6 and Gionee M6 Plus will be available in the Chinese market from August 6 and August 13 respectively. Gionee M6, M6 Plus with Massive Batteries Launched.
The price of Gionee M6 with 64GB storage capacity is CNY 2, 699 (Rs. 27, 200 approx.) whereas Gionee M6 with 128GB storage capacity is priced at CNY 2, 899 (Rs.29, 200 approx). Gionee M6 Plus 64GB version will cost CNY 2, 999 (Rs, 29, 200) and M6 Plus 126GB version is priced at CNY 3,199 (Rs. 32,200). Color options for both the smartphones are Champagne Gold and Mocha Gold.
The major highlight of both these smartphones is embedded data encryption in them. This will ensure the protection of the users against malware, at the same time, it will also secure users IM communication content from being decrypted.

Specification and features of M6 include dual-SIM dual standby; it is featured by Android Marshmallow Amigo 3.5 OS. It has a 5.5-inch full HD AMOLED screen along with 401ppi pixel compactness. It also has 100 percent NTSC gamut and 2.5D curved screen guard. The smartphone is backed by 64-bit 1.8GHz MediaTek Helio P10 Octa-core processor with 4GB RAM. It has an internal storage of 64GB and offers an option to further expand storage up to 128GB via microSD card.

On the camera front, M6 sports a 13-megapixel rear snapper along with PDAF and LED flash. For the front camera, it has an 8-megapixel camera. The device has a 5000mAh battery which asserts to last up to 6.4 hours of video, 55 hours of Talktime, and 794 hours of stand- by. It also comes with quick charging tech, and as per company’s claim, the M6 can be fully charged within two hours. The fingerprint scanner is inside the home button. For connective options, M6 has 4G LTE, 3G, GPRS/EDGE, Wi-Fi, GPS/AGPS, Bluetooth, WLAN, USBOTG, and Micro-USB port. Its dimensions are 152.3*75.3*8.2mm, and the phone weighs 180 grams.
Coming to M6 Plus, it’s a bigger version of M6, which features a 6-inch full HD AMOLED screen. The device has a 16-megapixel back camera along with dual LED flash, and an 8-megapixel front snapper. It comes with a 6000mAh battery. The dimensions of M6 Plus are measured at 160.5*80.6*8.2mm, and it weighs 215 grams. Other than this, all the other specification are same as the M6 phone.
