Lenovo Vibe S1 that was launched in November 2015 is all set to roll with the latest version of Android i.e. Android Marshmallow. As far as the Operating System is concerned, the company always lags behind in updating the Android System for their devices. But, this time, they are moving ahead and breaking the old mores. Following this, the company has released the update of Marshmallow version for its three classic phones i.e. Lenovo A7000, K3 Note, and Vibe P1.
Recently, the update is available only in the United Arab Emirates and India. But soon it will expand to other countries also.
To be remembering, when the new software will be all set to be installed, the phone will pop up with a notification. But, some factors are to be taken into consideration:
- Ensure that your device is connected with Wi-Fi while downloading new software because the size of a file is large i.e. about 1.6GB, and if downloaded with data net connection, it will result in a loss.
- If you have previously changed the default storage device than ensure that you have a backup plan for all the data that is stored on the micro-SD card.
- Your device should be charged more than 50%.
- Don’t panic as it will take a long time and restart several times.
After getting an update, your phone will be installed with features like Doze mode, better battery life, App standby and much more.
To summon up the specs, the 5.00-inch touchscreen display phone comes with a resolution of 1080×1920 pixels.
