ZTE is a China-based multinational company founded on 1985; 32 years ago by Hóu Wéiguì. There are three business units in the ZTE which are telecommunication (17%), terminals (29%) and carrier networks (54%). ZTE Nubia M2 Play launch event was scheduled for June 2017 in China. As according to the specifications of the device it lies between Nubia M2 and Nubia M2 Lite smartphones.

The design of ZTE Nubia M2 Play looks like the Nubia M2 Lite with the metallic body, single camera setup, and 2.5D curved glass. The camera of the device is located at the upper left side alongside with Flash, and the fingerprint sensor is built into the front side home button of the device. The speakers, microphone, and charging (USB) port are at the bottom of the phone while the headphone port is on the top.
The ZTE Nubia M2 Play has the 5.5 inches TFT capacitive touchscreen with 16M colors and the resolutions of 720 x 1280 pixels (~ 267 ppi pixel densities) with multi-touch. The thickness of the device is 7.9 mm thickness. It is a Dual SIM 4G device with Dual Standby and Hybrid SIM. The mobile also supports the 4G voLTE.
The Nubia M2 Play runs on the Android 7.1 (Nougat) operating system, Qualcomm MSM8940 Snapdragon 435 chipset, the eight-core Cortex-A53 processor (split at 4×1.4GHz and 4×1.1GHz) and Adreno 505 GPU. In comparison to the ZTE Nubia M2 which has Helio P10 chipset and similar octa-core processor. The internal memory of the Nubia M2 Play is 32 GB which can be expandable up to 128 GB by using microSD card (uses SIM 2 slot).
As far as Nubia M2 Play Camera is the concern it has the primary camera of 13 MP main Sony CMOS sensor with F/2.2, phase detection autofocus, LED flash and features like touch focus, face detection, HDR, panorama, Geo-tagging and video recording at 1080p@30fps. The secondary camera of the device is 5 MP 84-degrees wide-angle with f/2.4.
Other connectivity options are WLAN (Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, dual-band, WI-Fi Direct, hotspot), Bluetooth (4.x, A2DP, LE), GPS (with A-GPS, GLONASS), microUSB 2.0 and 3.5 mm jack. The Nubia M2 Play Features the sensors which are Fingerprint (front-mounted), accelerometer, proximity.
The Nubia M2 Play is powered by the Non-removable Li-Po 3000 mAh battery with the feature of fast charging. The colors available in the device are Black and Gold.
Nubia M2 Play price might expected to be Rs 19999 in India. The released date in India is expected to be July 2017.
