Xiaomi has some notable number of sales during the Single’s Day sale

China’s Single Day sale started on Friday started with Alibaba selling over $5 billion (Rs.33,515 crores approximately in just the first hour which broke the record of the first hour of last year’s spree. Also, Xiaomi has some notable number of sales during the Single’s Day sale.

The vice president of Xiaomi Global, Hugo Barra claimed via a tweet that the company had sold CNY 1.2 billion (Rs.1,270 crores) in total sales. He also claimed that around 1 million Xiaomi Redmi 4A units were sold in just 24hours and the smartphone ranked top selling smartphone. Xiaomi’s China Singles Day 2016 stat are RMB 1.295 billion total sales; 1 million Redmi 4A.

To recall, Xiaomi Redmi a4A is the most recent launch of the company. The smartphone comes with a 5-inch display along with 720×1280 pixels resolutions. It runs on 1.4GHz quad-core processor paired with 2GB of RAM. It bears a 13-megapixel primary camera on the back and 5-megapixel front snapper for selfies. The Xiaomi Redmi 4A runs on Android 6.0. It packs a 3120mAh battery.

Xiaomi in an MIUI forum post disclosed that the CNY 1.25 billion sales milestone was achieved in 23 hours and 20minutes. The post said that the company had exceeded the last year’s record.

The post revealed that Xiaomi has managed to sell CNY billion worth of devices in 17 hours and 2 minutes whereas reached CNY 200 million in 16 minutes and 16 seconds. As soon as the sale commenced at midnight, the company claimed it sold CNY 100 million worth of devices in 5 minutes and 23 seconds.

According to the company, Mi devices that were most popular during China’s Single’s Day were Mi Router 3, Redmi 4A, Mi Pad, Mi Drone, Mi Router 3, Mi Band 2, Mi Air Purifier, Mi Luggage, Ninebot Mini.
