The Chinese company on the weekend tweeted about the forthcoming launch saying “You don’t have to worry about a ‘house-full’ when you have the best seat in the house. The #KillerNote5 is coming.”
However, we will have to see if the company launches the new phone with an exact name used in China or include the ‘Vibe’ epithet along with it for the Indian market. The Lenovo K5 Note has launched in China back January this year, and it was priced at CNY 1,099 which in Indian rupees would come to just about Rs.11,350. Though the price of the handset has yet to be relieved, it is expected to stay in the same range.

Lenovo K5 Note has a lot of advancement over the Lenovo K4 Note like it’s all metal body. One of its other highlighted features is the fingerprint scanner with is placed below the camera module; the fingerprint scanner was in K4 Note too. The primary features of Lenovo K5 Note will include a 64-bit-octa-core MediaTek Helio P10 processor logged at 1.8GHz. It has 2GB of RAM and Mali-T860 GPU. It offers 16GB of in-built storage, and further, it supports microSD card up to 128GB. The phone has 5.5-inch full HD, which offers 1080×1920 pixel resolution IPS display, identical to the K4 Note. For all the photo enthusiast Lenovo k5 Note offers a 13-Megapixel camera with PDAF autofocus, a f/2.2 orifice and dual-tone LED flash on the rear and a front snapper of 8-megapixel. It supports dual Nano-SIM. The Android 5.1 lollipop-based smartphones support the company’s proprietary Vibe UI on top. Lenovo K5 Note phones have digital compass, proximity, accelerometer, and ambient light sensors.
