Galaxy J1 Prime is now made available online in the United States
The South Korean tech giant Samsung’s new budget smartphone Galaxy J1 Prime is now made available online in the United States. The device is priced at 89.99 dollars (around Rs. 6,000) for the unlocked model; the handset is up for sales through Amazon.com. It should be noted that the tech giant, at present, has not either made any official announcement nor listed the smartphone on its official website.
The Samsung Galaxy J1 Mini Prime is also up for grabs via eBay at a different price of 86.99 dollars (around Rs.5,900). The latest Galaxy J1 Mini Prime regarding display looks quite familiar to Samsung Galaxy J1 which was launched earlier this year. The smartphone is powered by 1.3GHz quad-core processor coupled with 1GB of RAM. It has and internal storage of 8GB which can be further expanded up to 128GB via microSD card.
Coming to the specifications of Samsung Galaxy J1 Mini Prime comes with a 4-inch WVGA (480×800 pixels) screen size and offers a 233ppi of pixel density. The device is powered by a quad-core Spreadtrum SC9830 processor clocked at 1.2GHz paired with 1GB of RAM. It also offers an onboard storage of 8GB and offers expandability up to 256GB via microSD card.
The Samsung Galaxy J1 Mini Prime runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow-based, and the smartphone supports dual-SIM both Micro SIMs. It terms of optics, the smartphone comes with a 5-megapixel autofocus primary camera along with LED flash and also incorporates 0.3-megapixel front snapper. The dimensions of the handset are measured at 126.6×63.1×10.8mm, and it weighs at 123 grams. Sorry to say, there is no 4G support in the smartphone.
The Samsung Galaxy J1 Mini Prime is powered by a 1500mAh removal battery. It is available in Gold, White, and Black colour variants.
