Samsung has launched a mid-segment smartphone for Rs. 18,490
Further expanding its ‘Galaxy On Series’ portfolio, the South Korean smartphone maker Samsung has launched a mid-segment smartphone for Rs. 18,490 on Friday in India.
The new smartphone features a 5.5-inch full HD display with 2.5D Gorilla Glass. It is powered by the octa-core processor and has a 3GB RM. For internal storage, this Galaxy On Nxt smartphone has 32 GB internal storage capacity that can be further expanded up to 256GB via microSD card. The handset runs on Android Marshmallow OS.
For data security, it has fingerprint sensor that offers quick and secure access. Some highlighted features on the Galaxy On Nxt are features like ‘S Power Planning’ and ‘S Secure’ to tackle users power management and security-related issues and queries.
On the event of launch Manu Sharma, Vice President, Samsung India Electronics said that Galaxy On Nxt has a premium metal body with the compact design and superior performance for a rich consumer experience.
The smartphone comes with a great f1.9 primary camera of 13-megapixel and front camera of 8-megapixel. The device comes with advanced modes like palm and gesture selfie, beautifying effects, wide-angle selfie. The smartphone packs a 3300mAh battery that is claimed to deliver up to 21 hours of talk time.
Connectivity options offered includes Bluetooth 4.1. GPS, Wi-fi 802.11n, and Wi-Fi direct.
Ajay Yadav, Vice President-Mobiles, at Flipkart said that after getting good feedback on Samsung Galaxy On8 which was launched earlier this month, they are excited to launch Samsung Galaxy On Nxt to their customers.
Moreover, the device comes with pre-installed “My Galaxy” app that has gaming, music, video, and much more.
The Samsung Galaxy On Nxt is priced at Rs. 18,499, and it will be available in Gold and Black color variant. It is available exclusively on Flipkart, and we will have to wait for its availability on other e-commerce stores.
