Blu Product unveiled a new smartphone, the Blu Life Max

The California smartphone company Blu Product unveiled a new smartphone, the Blu Life Max, expanding its Life series. It is budgeted smartphone that packs a massive 3700mAh battery, which is its biggest highlight. The device will be available in the United States through the company’s official retail partner, Amazon at an affordable price tag of $118.87 (around Rs. 8000). Currently, the device is ‘temporarily out of stock’ without any word regarding its availability on the Amazon. The smartphone is only available in Dark Blue colour and works on carriers including Cricket, AT&T, Straight Talk, and MetroPCS.

Coming to the specifications of the Blu Life Max, the handset supports dual SIM and runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow out-of-the-box. The smartphone is powered by a quad-core MediaTek 6737 CPU clocked at 1.3GHz along with Mali T-720 GPU for the graphics. Under the hood, it houses a 2GB of RAM. The smartphone comes with a 5.5-inch HD (720×1280 pixels) IPS display along with ‘Blu Infinite View’ which actually is the curved glass corners of the smartphone. The smartphone also offers internal storage capacity of 8GB which can be further expanded up to 16GB via microSD card slot.

In terms of optics, Blu Life Max comes with an 8-megapixel autofocus primary camera along with HD video recording capability. At the front, the handset bears a 5-megapixel snapper along with flash modules. The smartphone also houses a fingerprint scanner which is rested just below the back camera.

Further, the Blu Life Max is powered by a 3700mAh battery that the company claims to last up to 3 days with normal usage. In terms of the connectivity, the Blu Life Max offers 4G LTE, Bluetooth, GPRS/EDGE, GPS, and Wi-Fi. The dimensions of  Life Max are measured at 154.5×77.1×8.7mm
