Reliance Jio Effect: BSNL offers new chaukka plan of Rs 444 which includes 4GB 3G data per day

As all, we know the prime war of the offers between the telecom operators is not ended, which is helping the customers. Now the India’s national telecom operator has jumped in the prime war of offers especially with Reliance Jio. The major telecom operators such Airtel, Idea Cellular and Vodafone, has already given the exited offers to the customers so that they will remain with their current operators. BSNL offers the new plan which is known as the chaukka plan of Rs 444 in which they are offering unlimited data for three months (90 days).

BSNL offer this chaukka plan of Rs 444 only for the BSNL prepaid customers with unlimited 4GB data per day after STV recharge of Rs 444. This offer is the new plan of the last Rs 333 April’s plan in which the BSNL offers 3GB 3G. The company claimed that due to the positive response of the last Rs 333 Tripple Ace plan new BSNL Rs. 444 Offer (chaukka plan) is launched.

However, Reliance Jio is a 4G network, but BSNL hasn’t launched 4G yet, so the chaukka plan is the 3G plan. The speed of the Reliance Jio 4G is much faster than BSNL 3G, but the data offered by BSNL is 4 GB per day as compared to 1 GB per day by Jio. If we compare both operators’ plan as value for money, then BSNL wins the race. BSNL is providing Rs 1.23 per GB as compared to Jio’s Rs 11 per GB and Rs 9 per GB for Rs 309 and Rs 509 packs respectively.

The BSNL Web Page is pointing out the list of STVs recharge as 60 days of the validity period. But BSNL has confirmed the chaukka plan of Rs 444 as 90 days plan, and they also confirmed that it is data tarrif only with no voice calling benefit available.

Unfortunately, there is no official announcement from the BSNL about the availability of the Rs 444 chaukka plan for prepaid customers, while the offer is listed on official BSNL website as the upcoming offer.

“We are committed to providing affordable and efficient services to all segments of our mobile customers. We offer best prices to our clients considering the present trend of Indian telecom industry.” BSNL’s Director for Consumer Mobility RK Mittal said.

The entry of Reliance Jio in the telecom market has led the new price wars between the networks. But Jio has also helped to improve the global position of India in the LTE network.
