Samsung launched the Galaxy S7 Edge in Pink Gold colour variant in India

Samsung launched the Galaxy S7 Edge in Pink Gold colour variant in India. This variant was first launched in April this year. Before this, the handset was already available in Gold Platinum, Silver Titanium, Black Onyx, and White Pearl colour variant. The price of the device is the same at Rs. 50,900.

However, users can further pay Rs. 2,980 and get the Gear VR headset along with a screen replacement offer from Samsung. The Blue Coral colour variant of the smartphone was also made available earlier this month. Separately, a Black Pearl colour variant was also launched in South Korea, but the smartphone hasn’t made its debut in India. On the whole, the Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge is now available in Blue Coral Black Onyx, Pink Gold, Gold Platinum, White Pearl, and Silver Titanium colour variant.

When the colour was launched, Samsung commented Pink Gold was selected as it, similar to the other colour variants, is a natural colour that offers a sense of comfort.

To recall, the Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge comes with a 5.5-inch Super AMOLED display along with QHD (1440X2560 pixels). It is powered by an octa-core Exynos 8890 SoC paired with 4GB of RAM.

The always-on display on the device allows you to check date, time, and notifications without waking up the device. The phone comes with a 12-megapixel ‘Dual Pixel’ primary camera along with a f/1.7 aperture and OIS feature. At the front, it houses a 5-megapixel front camera along with f/1.7 aperture.

The handset comes with an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance. The Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge is powered by a 360mAh battery and supports hybrid dual-SIM card slot. The SIM card slots are hybrid  that either allows storage expandability up to 200GB via microSD or you can use it as a second SIM slot
