Now Reliance Jio seems to be making headlines with a new 4G VoLTE featured phone. The specifications of the phone leaked a few days ago, and it already created a buzz. The company will launch the phone on 21 July with a very reasonable price of Rs 500. This feature phone includes all the key specifications of a 4G VoLTE phone. They are more likely to provide a smartphone service to the users who are not in a habit to using a full-touch smartphone.
Specifications of Jio 4G featured phone
Through some reports we have come across that Jio will launch two models of its featured phone both the phones will have a 2.4-inch color display, 4 GB internal storage with 512 MB RAM, dual SIM functionality with an independent slot for SD card up to 128 GB. There is also Wi-Fi and NFC Connectivity. We can also detect location by using this phone, thanks to the GPS feature. There is an FM radio and Bluetooth functionality along with a good battery backup of 2000mAh and video calling.
Jio phones are sold under the name of LYF Company, and this model will also be sold under this name only. According to the image leaked, the phone is running on KAIOS which is based on Firefox OS. There is an app store called “KaiOS Plus” through which it can be figured out that the handset may contain some social media app along with Jio apps like Jio Cinema, Jio TV, etc.
