MacBook Pro 2016 laptop users face battery issues

The users of MacBook Pro 2016 laptop are not happy with its battery performance. Consumer reports coming into the play also stated the MacBook Pro 2016’s battery performance to be poor, making it the first ever MacBook to not receive the organisation’s recommendation.

Shocked and surprised, Apple announced that they are working along with the consumer reports to understand the battery tests that were performed by the organisation. Now, consumer reports have declared that they will not be implementing any more tests on the MacBook Pro 2016’s  battery performance as they are quite sure about its findings.

Consumer reports told 9to5Mac that the retest is unjustifiable, as they are confident about their findings. They stated that their tests and experiments are monitored closely and each and every entry is being marked to ensure accuracy.

The MacBook Pro 2016 laptop models were found to be having a different set of battery life. In a report, it stated that, during the series of three back to back tests, the 13 inch model with the touch bar ran for about 16 hours in its first test, 12.75 hours in its second test and only 3.75 hours in the third test.

On the other hand, the 13 inch model with no touch bar ran for about 19.5 hours in its first trial and only 4.5 hours in its second one. With the 15 inch model, the trial for the first time ran for about 18.5 hours but in the second trial it only lasted for about 8 hours.

The organisation reported that they are still working with Apple to find an explanation for these results.

The organisation is considered as a respectable firm whose presence holds high stakes in the tech industry. A bad recommendation can ruin Apple MacBook Pro 2016 models sales in the near future.
